before there were sales of used computers but now anyone can afford a new one but not too many can afford a new laptop so used laptops market begins to develop for those who want something with little money

Choosing the right computer can be tough. Every time I decide what my next laptop will be I change my mind and start searching again. SO, in my experience, there isn't one perfect computer. A good computer should suit our needs. Depending on what we'll be using it for we should check if it has that special thing. For gamers a computer should have a very good video card. I use the internet a lot so I just need a good processor and a large hard disk to hold all my data.

I would like to see a “click on needs profile” and then have it generate options. for instance:
I want a laptop. I need wireless web access, ability to download music for MP3. I would like to watch dvd movies, plug into car outlet for power, DVD writer, external source hookup – for external harddrive, mouse, either hook to printer/scanner /copier or send wirelessly, office product software, digital picture download…. whip it all together and the best laptop computer for me would be??????

Tanks for the info. It was very easy to understand and much appreciated. Not sure how thorough it was. I’m new to computer buying and wondered about Apple and why it wasn’t mentioned as a possible brand to look at. My girlfriend says they are geared for very professional use…a little over the top for the average person. Oh yeah and I wondered about longevity or computer life 100,000 miles or 300,000 something for a guideline. Which brand lasts the longest? Thanks
